Our Story

IDS VISION STATEMENT

Established in 1988 Industrial Drive Service Inc. (IDS) is an Industrial and Mobile Control Solutions business specializing in OEM System Builds, Industry 4.0 Solutions, Drive Repair Services, Retrofits, Wiring Harnesses and Mobile Automation.

IDS is a family owned business grown from the experience and passion of Daryl Keys. Reflecting personal values the company provides high quality electrical control products and services to discerning customers seeking trustworthy solutions in their industry. The IDS business model highlights exemplary business practice, transparency, integrity and outstanding employees.

IDS cares about their workforce and considers them an extension of family. Management and employees are required to follow best practices, to be honest, and to hold themselves to high ethical standards at all times. We encourage ongoing training and education. The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, or OACETT, is a not-for-profit, self-governing organization in Ontario, Canada. It is a professional association that promotes the interests of engineering and applied science technicians and technologists to industry, educational institutions, government and with the public. Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to helping manufacturers GROW and become MORE COMPETITIVE, at home and around the world. EMC has grown to become Canada’s largest manufacturing consortium with over one thousand industry events annually, and is one of the most active manufacturing organizations in North America

The IEC facilitates a unique partnership of experts from education, labour, contractors, and industry to improve safety performance in our community. Through the Sarnia-Lambton Safety Partnership Model, the organization enables an injury-free culture by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve safety performance and efficiencies by collaborating in the development of safety standards and programs.
